Welcome to the CYHA Coaches/Student Coaches/Team Managers/Volunteers Registration with the Centennial Youth Hockey Association.

NOTE - things to be aware of before proceeding:

1. If you register with USA Hockey under a different name format than years past (Bill vs William) - your CEP and Safe Sport won't show up properly and you'll need to merge your accounts to get rostered properly.

2. All roster information pulls from this registration - not from the other data you enter in NGIN - your CEP, Safe Sport and background checks all pull from here once your certifications electronically move through the system.  This can be a slow process - don't wait until the last minute to complete items or you'll risk being redlined.

Each participant must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to sign up for the 2023-2024 Season.  This is an annual registration and must be done once each year.

• Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register the coach, manager or volunteer. Be sure to PRINT and SAVE the confirmation code(s). Each coach, manager or volunteer must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code received in Step 1.

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or PayPal account information available.  (There is no charge to register with USAH for Team Managers and Volunteers; it does NOT allow on-ice participation.)

Roster “Clearance” means completed safe sport, background check, and for coaches they also need the Age Level Module, Concussion Course Certificate and MN Concussion form. 

1. All Traveling coaches and managers must be cleared to be rostered (100% with the exception of the coaching CEP) before October 15th this year. 
   1. The flex period that ran right up to roster signing is gone. 
   2. Anyone not cleared by October 15th will be added to a supplemental roster which will not be processed until after roster signing and will not clear until around November 11th.
   3. Those targeted for a supplemental will not be able to be on ice or have any interaction with the players until after November 11th (or when the supplemental is cleared)
2. All Mite coaches and managers must be cleared to be rostered (100% with the exception of the coaching CEP) before October 28th this year.
   1. The flex period that ran right up to roster signing is gone. 
   2. Anyone not cleared by October 28th will be added to a supplemental roster which will not be processed until after roster signing and will not clear until around December 18th.
   3. Those targeted for a supplemental will not be able to be on ice or have any interaction with the players until after December 18th (or when the supplemental is cleared)
3. All Jr Gold coaches and managers must be cleared to be rostered (100% with the exception of the coaching CEP) before December 1st  this year.
   1. The flex period that ran right up to roster signing is gone. 
   2. Anyone not cleared by December 1st will be added to a supplemental roster which will not be processed until after roster signing and will not clear until around December 18th.
   3. Those targeted for a supplemental will not be able to be on ice or have any interaction with the players until after December 18th (or when the supplemental is cleared)
4. All Coaches CEP
   1. The flex period that ran right up to December 31st is gone
   2. All coaches CEP courses or renewals must be complete and cleared before December 15th or the coach will be removed from the roster for the season.
